Dr. Donna Sweeney, DMD

My 8 year old had a tooth ache and Dr. Sweeney got him in quickly. She was friendly, informative and awesome! He arrived in pain and left pain free.

Took my insurance and was nice enough while attempting to talk me into crowns to replace some silver fillings that my old dentist (my uncle from where I used to live) said were fine. Office was dirty, dated and smelled faintly of mold trying to be covered by air freshener. The phone didn't ring once while I was there and the office was eerily quiet. (Guess that's why I got and appointment so quick) Doctor seems fake and rehearsed. Left with my cheap toothbrush and silver fillings intact.

Wonderful experience, competent and prompt dentist, great staff, organized office and she was also surprisingly witty as well!

Dr. Sweeney is wonderful! Prompt, professional and personable.

The Dr. was rushed and did not take the time to discuss the concerns I outline during my consultation. A RC was recommended by another practice that did not take my insurance and the Dr. was more concerned with a bridge that is stable and not problematic. She opted to fill the tooth in lieu of the RC and this filling was repaired twice and is still failing. I also experienced appointment cancelation due to a power failure in 4/2016. This appears to be a on going issue w/ this practice.

I have been to many dentists in my life and Dr Sweeney is by far the best! Why? First,I am a coward when it comes to pain/needles etc and she has given me injections to numb etc many times and very little ,if any pain ever..actually,I could have slept through her injections! 2nd,my kids love her and no longer have a fear of the dentist! 3rd,she has never pushed high cost, unneeded work etc on my family.4rth,she has a very nice staff and the hygienst takes her time and is very thorough.kids lov

Village Dental Arts has been a godsend to our family. My wife was extremely scared of going to the dentist and now she actually looks forward to going. Dr. Sweeney has always been excellent at explaining what needs to be done and why. We are very pleased with her work. Her staff is very pleasant and accommodating. They make you feel like you are the most important person in the whole world and like you are part of the Village Dental Arts family. I have recommended this office many times!
