Biography: I grew up in Seattle, went to college in Boston, and have studied medicine and surgery in New York City. I have had the privilege to work with and learn from many excellent surgeons, doctors, and researchers, and I am proud to bring that experience and expertise to the community of patients throughout the Mount Sinai network. Through a range of approaches -- both surgical and non-surgical -- that we tailor to each person's needs, our team's goal is to help you restore, maintain, or improve your function and appearance. It is important to me that care of my patients is aligned with research and academic pursuits. My team and I are working to develop new approaches to enhance recovery after nerve injury, studying ways to improve outcomes in reconstruction of the breast (particularly after partial mastectomy), and developing new technology to improve surgical training and education.
