Biography: Nick Cowan, MD, is a board certified urologist and transplant surgeon specializing in kidney transplant, kidney cancer, kidney stones, and laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery._x000D_ Dr. Cowan is the Urology Residency Program director at Virginia Mason and a clinical assistant professor of urology at the University of Washington. Dr. Kuhr's lab focuses on the mechanisms of immune tolerance as they relate to organ transplantation and cancer treatment.Dr. Kuhr feels privileged to work with patients and to witness the transformative effects of transplantation, both for the patients and their families. The process of transplant surgery requires a lot of trust between patient and physician, and Dr. Kuhr works hard to built this trust.Dr. Kuhr is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is part of Benaroya Research Institute, a clinical associate professor of surgery and urology at the University of Washington, and affiliate in research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Biography: Daniel Willis, MD, is a urologic surgeon who offers care for the full spectrum of urologic disorders, including complex cases. Dr. Willis has fellowship training in urologic cancers with expertise in the treatment of bladder, prostate, kidney, testes and penile cancers, and is trained in robotic surgery. Conscientious, caring and dedicated to patient education, Dr. Willis empowers patients to participate jointly in their care and to make personalized, informed medical decisions. Biography: Jaspreet Parihar, MD, is a board-certified urologist with fellowship training in da Vinci robotic and minimally invasive surgeries in urologic oncology. His scope of work includes urologic cancers (with special interest and expertise in kidney/ bladder/prostate cancer) and benign conditions such as BPH and kidney stones. He strives to provide holistic, compassionate care and to treat his patients as he would his family.
