Care Philosophy: As an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in treating conditions of the hip and knee, I do my utmost to return patients to an active, pain free lifestyle. I am fellowship trained in Adult Reconstruction, specializing in total hip and knee replacements with a large focus on partial knee replacements. My aim is to improve my patients' quality of life with the most minimally invasive way possible. I aim to use a patient's biology first, and many of my patients are helped through things like phyical therapy alone. While I love to operate, I strive to use this as the last option for my patients. This is the tact I would want my family treated with their medical problems. If surgery does become the last option, I try to utilize the least invasive surgical procedure to fix the problem. Optimizing the treatment to best improve my patients' function and pain relief while minimizing the risks and downtime is one of my primary goals.

Care Philosophy: At Texas Joint Institute our goal is simple: To take a rapid rehabilitation approach to wellness, with the purpose of seeing patients restored to optimum health and back to their daily lives as soon as possible. Minimally invasive surgery results in less pain, a faster recovery and a cosmetically pleasing outcome for our patients. In select patients, we offer total hip replacement as an outpatient procedure. This procedure is only being done in a few centers nationally.
