Care Philosophy: I am sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex arthroscopic repair and reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joints' ligaments, tendons, labrum, menisci and cartilage. Beyond my focus on arthroscopic surgery, I also have extensive experience in complex fracture surgery of both the upper and lower extremities. I believe in educating patients about their injury and discussing the available treatment options to help individualize each patient's care and treatment to their specific needs and expectations. A clear focus on the patient's ultimate goal helps me guide their care in the best fashion possible. Outside of the medical world I am an avid cyclist, having ridden up and over some of the highest mountain peaks and passes in Europe, travelling the world exploring new sights and cuisines. In my free time I am an experienced cook and am currently focused on expanding my use of a sous vide cooker and baking bread.

Care Philosophy: I believe in treating each patient with dignity and respect. I enjoy working with patients from many backgrounds and cultures. It is important to take time with each patient to make sure their diagnosis is fully understood. For elective procedures conservative treatment is exhausted prior to moving forward with surgical intervention. Special Clinical Interests: Foot and Ankle Trauma, Sports Medicine, Limb Salvage, Foot and Leg Wound Care, Custom Foot Orthotics and Biomechanics. Why I Became a Medical Provider: I wanted to be an expert in one specific area of the body. I also wanted to understand how the body works and pathology. This field allows me to focus and specialize in complete foot and ankle care for my patients. It is extremely satisfying when I can help someone improve and function at a higher level.
