Biography: Indresh Venkatarayappa, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Bangalore Medical College (India) and completed an orthopedic surgery residency T.N. Medical College (India). He also completed an orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Venkatarayappa completed surgical training in the United Kingdom at MRCS Edinburgh and was fellowship trained in traumatology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and MRCS. Dr James completed his fellowship training in sports medicine through Trihealth Bethesda through which he also spent time with Beacon Orthopedics and sports teams from Xavier University, College of Mount St. Joseph, and Sycamore High school. Dr. James is board certified in family medicine with added qualification in sports medicine. He practices withPremier Orthopedics. Dr. James is Medical Director and team physician for University of Dayton Athletics. He is also Medical Director for the Miami Valley Hospital South sports medicine programs and is team physician for Centerville High School athletics. Dr. James' clinic practice focuses on non-operative orthopedic care for adolescents and adults, as well as the full spectrum of sports medicine needs. Dr. James has training in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnosis as well as use for needle and procedural guidance. Biography: Jeffrey Rayborn, MD is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Practice and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Bethesda North Hospital. Dr. Rayborn joined Premier Orthopedics in 2009. Dr. Rayborn's practice focuses on non-operative orthopaedic care for adolescents and adults, and primary care sports medicine. Dr. Rayborn also employs the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in the evaluation of orthopaedic conditions, as well as in the placement of needles to support the aspiration or injection of joints such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. The use of musculoskeletal ultrasound has been shown to enhance patient management and outcomes in both general orthopaedic and sports medicine populations. Dr. Rayborn also offers Platelet Rich Plasma Injections (PRP) when medically appropriate. Dr. Rayborn is actively engaged in the sports medicine community. He currently serves as the Medical Director for Upper Valley Sports Medicine Center and is also the team physician at Tipp City High School. Dr. Rayborn is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
