Biography: Dr. Kremer is a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2002, and he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in 2006. Dr. Kremer serves as program director for the HCA Medical City Arlington Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program. He has a strong interest in gynecology, creating individualized patient-centered care plans for complex gynecology patients. Dr. Kremer is experienced with in-office gynecologic procedures and performs minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery. Dr. Kremer is passionate about the patient experience and was the 2020 recipient of the NRC Health Excellence in Human Understanding Award. Biography: Selam Whitfield, MD is an OB/GYN surgeon. She joined Matlock OB/GYN in 2021 and provides general obstetric and gynecological services for women of all ages. Dr. Whitfield enjoys providing comprehensive care for women throughout some of the most challenging, vulnerable, and empowering stages of life. She is passionate about improving health literacy in her patients in order to facilitate shared decision making. Her clinical interests include contraception management, adolescent care, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Whitfield received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky in 2017. In 2021 she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident in her final year and was awarded Resident of the Year and Outstanding Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons. While away from the office, Dr. Whitfield enjoys cooking, baking, watching any Netflix series pertaining to those two activities, and spending time with her husband and newborn son.
