She then received her medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, Texas in 2015 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2019. Dr. Uzoma partners with each of her patients. From adolescence, childbirth, menopause and beyond, she strives to build a strong relationship in order to provide the best possible care. Biography: Dr. Nicole Tenzel is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the International Board of Lactation Consultants. Dr. Tenzel earned her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science in 2019 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Tenzel has a vested interest in resident and medical student education and clinical training. She was awarded the Gold Humanism Honor Society Resident Teaching Award in 2016. Her professional interests include contraception, adolescent gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, and maternal mental health. She is passionate about providing individualized comprehensive care across all stages of a woman's life. Dr. Tenzel looks forward to being part of your healthcare team!
