Biography: Dr. Lam is a general obstetrician and gynecologist.She is passionate about providing comprehensive care for patients throughout their reproductive life cycle. Dr. Lam believes that compassionate care and evidence-based medicine can help guide women through these stages of their lives.Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, normal and high-risk pregnancies, adolescent medicine, and family planning. Biography: Dr. Athiya Javid is a practicing physician who specializes in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology. Her office serves patients who live in Los Gatos, San Jose, and the surrounding Bay Area communities in California. The doctor offers treatment options for infertility, pregnancy, menopause, endometriosis, and many other conditions that affect a woman's reproductive system. She offers the HPV vaccine, endometrial ablation, contraception options and laparoscopy based procedures in an attempt to offer her patients the most effective treatment plans. Dr. Javid received her medical degree in 1978 from Ghandi Medical College/Osmania University. In 1980, she attended Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center where she completed her internship. She remained at Mount Sinai and completed her residency in 1982. Her fellowship was completed at the same facility in 1983. The doctor is fluent in four languages, Spanish, English, Urdu, and Hindi.
