Biography: Dr. Wilson attended the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1980. He then completed an OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Parkland Memorial Hospital and has been in private practice in McAllen since 1984. He was a Clinical Associate Professor at UTHSC San Antonio from 2012-2017 and has been on the UTRGV Medical School Admissions Committee since its inception. In his role as the Medical Student Community Coordinator, he recruits and is the liaison for the Ob-Gyn community physicians who serve as preceptors for the medical students. Biography: Dr. Alberto D. Duran was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. He attended Our Lady of the Lake University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1991. He was accepted to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where in 1996 he received his Medical Doctor degree.
