Biography: Dr. Amber Gadson is an OB/GYN surgeon. Dr. Gadson completed her residency training at the University of Texas at Houston in May 2024. Prior to medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma in May 2016 where she graduated with honors. Dr. Gadson has actively contributed to research initiatives throughout her academic and professional journey. Notably, she conducted research on Cutaneous Endometriosis at the University of Texas at Houston, Department of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Her work focused on a retrospective cohort study aimed at documenting the presentation, diagnosis, and management of cutaneous endometriosis. Additionally, Dr. Gadson participated in research at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Health Behavior and Health Systems in Fort Worth, Texas, from January 2019 to January 2020. Under the guidance of Dr. Wagner, she investigated the intersection of Health Literacy and Maternal Mortality by conducting interviews with new mothers. Her efforts culminated in the development of a Health Literacy curriculum tailored for health professionals, which was adopted by the Association of Teachers of Maternal and Child Health. Biography: Dr. Nicole Tenzel is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the International Board of Lactation Consultants. Dr. Tenzel earned her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science in 2019 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Tenzel has a vested interest in resident and medical student education and clinical training. She was awarded the Gold Humanism Honor Society Resident Teaching Award in 2016. Her professional interests include contraception, adolescent gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, and maternal mental health. Biography: Dr. Brad Boccaccio was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at the University of North Texas in Denton and graduated summa cum laude in 2010. He graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2015 and then moved to Oklahoma with his wife (and dogs) to pursue his Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. Throughout his residency, Dr. Boccaccio received the Resident Teaching Award four consecutive years in a row, won Best Quality Improvement Award, earned his certification on the da Vinci robotic surgical system, and published articles in various peer-reviewed journals. During his final year of training he was named Outstanding MIS Resident and was honored with the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He was also recognized by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and received the Senior Resident Award for Evidence Based Medicine. He believes in patient-centered, evidence based medicine and works diligently to stay up to date on the most recent developments in the field so that he can act as a resource for his patients. Dr. Boccaccio's scope of practice includes routine and high-risk obstetrical care, well-woman care, transition to menopause, contraception management, gynecology, and minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted surgical procedures including hysterectomy and myomectomy. When he is not in the office, on L&D, or in the operating room, he can usually be found working around his house, spending time with his wife Rachel and their sons Oliver and Elliott (and the dogs), or at the ballpark cheering on the Rangers.
