Biography: Amy Plummer has been practicing Ob/Gyn in the Kingwood area for 19 years. She attended Baylor University, where she graduated with Honors in Biology. Amy completed medical school and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She started practicing Ob/Gyn in the Kingwood/Humble area during the summer of 1996. She continues to grow and learn as a physician, maintaining her board certification and is a certified DaVinci Robot surgeon. Amy has served as the chief of Ob/Gyn at both Northeast Medical Center Hospital and Kingwood Medical Center Hospital. She now maintains privileges at Kingwood Medical Center. Amy is very active in the community. Amy loves her job, especially her patients. She views it as a calling'. Amy is very proud to have been honored for this in 2005 when she received the Family Time Woman of Achievement Award for Human Services. She is pleased to be part of a practice that recognizes the importance of community service.

Biography: Dr. Kristin Chabarria is an obstetrician-gynecologist providing OB/GYN care with Houston Women's Care Associates (HWCA) in Houston, TX. Dr. Chabarria is a Louisiana native, completing both a masters in cell and molecular biology at Tulane University and medical school at Louisiana State University. She moved to Houston after medical school and completed her residency training at Baylor. Post-residency, Dr. Chabarria worked in another practice here in Houston prior to starting with Houston Women's Care Associates in 2019. Dr. Chabarria approaches patient care as a team effort. One of her greatest passions is patient education, for when provided with all information the doctor and the patient can make a team decision about best courses of treatment care. She enjoys the privilege of guiding her patients through some of the most vulnerable and exciting times of their lives onset of menarche, sexual exploration transitioning into adulthood, family planning, pregnancy, menopause and beyond. She truly enjoys the life-long relationships that are fostered between patient and doctor in the field of OBGYN. Her special interests include: family planning and reproductive health, minimally invasive surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, cervical dysplasia, and preventative services. Dr. Chabarria sees patients at our main Fannin office as well as our Heights and Cypress locations. She works closely with her nurse practitioner Anna Laura Clark to provide evidence-based, compassionate care for her patients. Dr. Chabarria is well recognized in the community and has been voted by Houstonia Magazine in the Top Doctors OB/GYN list for 2023 and 2024. Voters nominated their peers based on years of experience, competency, rapport with patients, patient satisfaction, compliance with care recommendations, and ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care. Personally, she lives in Houston with her husband Ryan and her two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling in her spare time, with frequent trips home to New Orleans (including annually for Mardi Gras).

Biography: Dr. Gullett has maintained his practice with OBGYN Medical Center Associates since 1976. Dr. Gullett's 24 years of experience in Ob/Gyn is extensive. His special interests include infertility, endoscopic and incontinence surgery, and reconstructive pelvic surgery, as well as general obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Gullett currently holds a teaching position at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Microsurgery. Dr. Gullett and his wife have two children in Houston, TX.

Biography: Dr. Leeds-Richter is a native Houstonian. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, adolescent health and gynecology, and preventative women's health care. Her practice encompasses complete care for women of all ages, with emphasis on long-term patient relationships and patient education.Dr. Leeds-Richter's outside interests include spending time with her two sons, running, skiing, attending sporting events as well as theatrical ballet performances. Dr. Leeds-Richter's practice includes Ms. Laura Walker, PA, with whom she has worked closely for many years.

Biography: Dr. Ivonne Smith, MD is an Obstetrics /amp Gynecology Specialist who practices in Houston, TX. She is 60 years old and has been practicing for 31 years. Dr. Ivonne Smith, MD is affiliated with The Woman's Hospital of Texas.

Biography: Dr. Boyd is a native Texan, born in Austin and raised in Houston, growing up in Clear Lake. She graduated from the University of Texas in 1992 with a BA in English-Honors. She then returned to Houston where she received her MD with Honors from Baylor College of Medicine in 1997. She decided a change of scenery was in order and did her residency in Denver, Colorado at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She was in private practice for one year in New York before coming home to Kingwood in 2002.

Biography: Dr. Julie Bernell has been in private practice since 1996. She loves being an Ob/Gyn and appreciates being able to care for women throughout different phases of their lives. Dr. Bernell believes the highest compliment that can be received from a patient is the referral of a friend or family member, and she feels rewarded to assist her patients' mothers, daughters and sisters with their health and wellness needs. A dedicated mother herself, Dr. Bernell's compassion and sensitivity make her a caring doctor who listens to your concerns.Dr. Bernell completed her residency and internship at Baylor College of Medicine in 1996 after graduating from Baylor College of Medicine in 1992. Before medical school, Dr Bernell graduated Cum Laude from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree with studies in Biopsychology. Dr. Bernell has been recognized and awarded throughout her training and private practice. She received the award, Resident of the Year in 1993-1994, The Woman of Achievement award in 2000, America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists award in 2004, 2005 and 2012. Dr. Bernell is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Montgomery County Medical Association and Texas Medical Association.
