This center is Medicare Certified and provides an opportunity for patients to have their procedure(s) done outside a hospital setting at substantially lower costs while maintaining the highest quality. Biography: Azzam Muftah, MD is Board Certified in Gastroenterology, and received his medical degree from the University of Damascus/Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Muftah completed Residencies in Gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Muftah specializes in gastroenterology at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. He treats conditions/performs procedures such as colonoscopy, colorectal cancer, crohn's disease, diverticular disease, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, and ulcers.
