Biography: Dr. Halim Abou-Faycal is certified in Infectious Diseases Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Since his graduation from medical school in June of 2000, Dr. Abou-Faycal has continued to pursue advanced training in internal medicine and infectious diseases medicine. He practiced at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Tennessee, where he rose to Senior resident. In July of 2004, Dr. Abou-Faycal began his fellowship training in infectious diseases at The University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center, during which he received specialized training in treating infections in bone marrow and solid organ cancer and transplant patients. His practice took him to Colorado from 2006-2009, where he was attending physician in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Sterling Regional Medical Center. Before coming to Willis-Knighton Health System in 2012, Dr. Abouy-Faycal served as Chairman of Infection Control and Medical Director for the infectious diseases department at St. Edwards Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He lives in Shreveport with his wife and two children.

Biography: Dr. Michel El-Hayek has a rich professional background. He completed a Post Doctoral fellowship in internal medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas, followed by a stint at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Following an elective in internal medicine at St. Luke's in Houston, Dr. El-Hayek continued his postgraduate training at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He completed his infectious diseases training at UT-Southwestern in Dallas before beginning his practice in Shreveport. Dr. El-Hayek, who is fluent in three languages, enjoys traveling internationally. He is quite proficient in a kitchen, as well.

Biography: Lise M. Huddleston, MD, FACOG, is a Louisiana native, born in New Orleans and raised in Shreveport. She graduated from Loyola College Prep before earning a bachelor's degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. Dr. Huddleston returned to Shreveport for medical school and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center –Shreveport. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in OB-GYN, Dr. Huddleston appreciates the diversity of patients and their medical needs as she practices the full range of specialized care for women. She values strong relationships with her patients as she guides them to make educated decisions about their health throughout many life stages. Dr. Huddleston is drawn to gynecologic surgeries that quickly produce results for many women. She practices obstetrics and gynecology at WK Pierremont OB-GYN Specialists, a Willis-Knighton clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana. As a wife and mother herself, Dr. Huddleston relates to patients at the same stage of life. Outside the clinic, Dr. Huddleston loves spending quality time with her family. They enjoy road trips together and watching the LSU Tigers win.
