Biography: Michael J. Muehlberger, M.D., graduated Summa Cum Laude from Austin Peay State University. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Tennessee at Memphis in 2004. He completed his general surgery training at The University of Florida at Jacksonville and was recognized as the Resident and Best Teaching Resident of the year, Trauma Resident of the year and received the Emmet F. Ferguson award. Dr. Muehlberger then pursued his Vascular Fellowship at The University of Virginia. After his Fellowship he moved to Orlando, Florida to join Vascular Specialists of Central Florida. Dr.Muehlberger is board certified with American College of Surgeons – Vascular Surgery.

Wesley, M.D., F.A.C.S. completed his general surgery residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. with two years dedicated to intensive research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Dr.Wesley went on to complete specialty training in vascular surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, WI. He subsequently held a faculty position at the University of Wisconsin before joining Vascular Specialists of Central Florida. Dr. Wesley received numerous awards during his training and has scientific articles published in major peer-reviewed journals. He has also given presentations at national scientific forums. As a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, he is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. He is a founding member of the International Vascular Surgical Society.Jon M. Biography: Richard R. Teed, M.D., attended the University of Florida, where he earned his bachelor of science degree in microbiology and cell science with a minor in classical studies. He went on to graduate with honors from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, followed by his vascular surgery fellowship training at Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Teed is fellowship trained and board certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. His specialties include treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), limb salvage, dialysis access, wound care, aortic surgery including aneurysms and dissections, carotid artery surgery for stroke prevention and the treatment of all aspects of venous disease. He is an associate with The American College of Surgeons.
