Biography: Damon Pierce, MD, has expertise in vascular and endovascular surgery, peripheral vascular disease, venous disease and varicose vein treatment. He also has expertise in carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, complex abdominal and thoracic aneurysms, TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) and carotid stent placement, and wound care.Dr. Pierce considers communicating effectively - helping patients understand their problem and how it can be fixed - to be one of the most important aspects of being a doctor. He enjoys making a difference in his patients' lives, considering it a privilege and honor to help people. He is also pleased to be able to offer his patients access to many new therapies and options.During his free time, Dr. Pierce enjoys skiing and golfing.

Care Philosophy: Medical care for many foot and ankle conditions are often as simple as an orthotic or a brace. However, more involved complicated cases sometimes require foot or ankle surgery to correct the underlying problem or deformity. Dr. Scheinost has been in practice in Puyallup for 18 years specializing in complicated foot and ankle reconstructive and revisional surgery. His practice philosophy has always been to treat conditions conservatively without surgery at first, unless the condition will only be resolved with surgery.

Biography: Dr. Guy Klein is an Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training and expertise in both adult reconstruction (hip and knee replacement) and orthopedic trauma (the care of adult and pediatric fractures). Dr. Klein utilizes a muscle sparing, minimally invasive anterior approach for hip replacement to help patient go through the surgery process with less pain and a more rapid recovery. During his fellowship training at Charleston Area Medical Center, Dr. Klein developed expertise in complex primary and revision (re-do) hip and knee replacement. He was also part of the orthopedic trauma team at this busy level 1 trauma center that took care of many severe adult and pediatric fractures. Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Klein performed his orthopedic residency training at University Hospitals of Cleveland and attended medical school at Ohio University. Dr. Klein performs hip and knee replacement with minimally invasive and cutting edge techniques. He utilizes an advanced, ``state of the art`` protocol to help control patient's pain after surgery. Dr. Klein specializes in hip and knee joint replacement as well as adult and pediatric fracture care. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR), and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS). He has presented orthopedic research at national and international meetings. His many research articles and book chapters have been published in national orthopedic journals including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) and the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics.

Biography: Matthew Williams, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopic foot and ankle surgery, ankle replacement surgery, pediatric foot and ankle problems and total ankle replacement (TAR) surgery.Dr. Williams enjoys getting to know his patients. He takes the time to listen to their concerns and to help them make the best medical decision. He makes a point to explore all non-surgical treatment options before proceeding with a surgical repair. He finds it extremely gratifying to help a patient function and feel better.Dr. Williams is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He serve as a surgical skills course instructor with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.Away from work, Dr. Williams enjoys piano, hiking, photography, oil painting and spending time with his family.
