Biography: With three other heart and lung surgeons in his immediate family, Dr. MohammadZadeh grew up in Michigan where early on he was influenced by the mentorship of his uncle, a pioneer heart surgeon in the Midwest. For over twenty years Dr. MohammadZadeh has dedicated his entire professional career to the care of patients in the Conejo Valley. Having successfully completed thousands of open heart operations and lung cancer resections, Dr. MohammadZadeh has acquired an impeccable reputation for integrity, compassion and devotion to patient care. During this time he has developed a niche in performing highly complex operations in cardiac and thoracic surgery with excellent results.

Biography: Dr. Asvin Ganapathi is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with Cardiovascular Institute of Los Robles Health System. Serving patients throughout Los Angeles and Ventura counties, Dr. Ganapathi specializes in the surgical treatment of adults with cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Ganapathi is board-certified by the American Boards of Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Ganapathi graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and fellowship in general and cardiothoracic surgery from Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Stanford University. Dr. Ganapathi most recently worked at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where he was an Associate Professor of Cardiac Surgery. In addition to specializing in adult cardiac surgery, he also performed surgery for treatment of heart failure and ECMO, of which he has received specialized training. Among many accomplishments, he has authored more than 120 peer reviewed manuscripts and serves as a Deputy Statistical Editor for the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He holds active membership in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, American College of Surgeons, and International Society for Heart and Lung Transplant. When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Ganapathi enjoys spending time with his wife and children, especially doing outdoor activities including swimming, skiing, and biking.
