Ryan Palmer, MD, received his undergraduate degree in biology from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 1996 and his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine in 2000. He also performed his gastroenterology fellowship at LSUHSC-S and completed it in 2006. He began his career locally in private practice before serving our veterans as a GI physician at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport. During this time, Dr. Palmer was also an associate professor at LSUHSC-S and trained other gastroenterologists.Patients work with Dr. Palmer at Pinnacle Gastroenterology, a Willis-Knighton clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Palmer is proficient in various GI procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD and ERCP.
