Biography: Emily Prouse M.D., a native of North Carolina, graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a degree in Environmental Studies. She went on to receive a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke, focusing her research on children's environmental health. Dr. Prouse realized her true passion was medicine and that she enjoyed working directly with people to effect change on a more personal level. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where she graduated with honors in 2011. At that time she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. She went on to compete her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle, receiving recognition for her teaching abilities. Dr. Prouse considers it an incredible privilege to be a physician. She believes that women's health is the foundation of strong, healthy families and is dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to all women. She prides herself in the ability to form lasting, collaborative relationships with patients and assist them in making informed, healthy decisions about their care. Outside of work, Dr. Prouse enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and three children. She is proud to call Colorado home and finds joy in exploring new wilderness areas, ski slopes, and biking trails. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves gardening, bringing her harvest to the table, and sharing meals with families and friends.

Care Philosophy: I treat each woman who comes to me as if she were family. My care approach is tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Care Philosophy: My favorite thing about being an obstetrician/gynecologist is caring for patients from adolescence through the menopausal years. I believe in providing compassionate and individualized care for all in an open-minded and comfortable environment. I am committed to patient education so that all women can feel informed and empowered!

Care Philosophy: Dr. Ferrara is committed to listening to her patients' concerns and educating them about their treatment options. She works collaboratively with her patients and colleagues to create individualized care plans that meet the specific needs of each patient.

Biography: Amy Adelberg, MD, is a native of Louisville, KY. She graduated from Georgetown University and went home for medical school to the University of Louisville. After completing residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital in CIncinnati, OH, she moved to Chapel Hill, NC for fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of North Carolina. She has been a part of the Obstetrix practice since completion of her fellowship in 2004 and enjoys time with her family in the outdoors of Colorado.

Biography: Dr. Stettler was born and raised in Texas. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his OB-GYN internship and residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship training at The University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Stettler is board certified in OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Stettler served as the Medical Director of the Obstetrix practice in Ft. Worth until 2001 and is now the Medical Director for Obstetrix Medical Group of Colorado.

Care Philosophy: OB/GYN offers a unique ability to develop strong patient relationships as you care for women throughout their lifetime. It is an honor to help guide women in making informed decisions regarding their healthcare. I also enjoy the diversity of the field that allows both clinical and surgical practice.

Biography: Dr. Kahn is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She graduated from Wellesley College with a major in music and graduated medical school at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed her internship, residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado. Dr. Kahn joined Obstetrix Medical Group of Colorado in 2009 and rejoined Obstetrix in 2014 after a year practicing maternal-fetal medicine in New Zealand.

Care Philosophy: Being an OB/GYN means that I get to see my patients throughout their lives and build a long-term relationship. In other words, I can truly partner with my patients to provide relevant information, education and support that allows them to take an active role in achieving their best health.

Care Philosophy: I believe the best way to care for my patients is to get to know them and understand who they are. I then can provide the best information and guidance, but ultimately, empower them to make their own health decisions.

Care Philosophy: I strive to provide individualized and compassionate care for all of my patients. I tailor my care approach to the specific needs of each woman.

Care Philosophy: With a commitment to relationship care, Dr. Forseter sees patients through their entire lifespan. He believes it is ultimately a woman's choice in their care and is there to support them through all their needs in health care.

Biography: Dr. Sarah Takimoto is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from Creighton University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2018. Dr. Takimoto's interests in OB/GYN include maternal safety and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, and teaching residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and discovering new restaurants. She is married with a young son and is bilingual in Spanish.

I am committed to providing the most advanced, effective, quality care for each patient's unique needs and concerns. I am always open to master new technologies available in the medical field to offer all options to my patients so we can individualize the treatment according to pathology and the patient's needs and preferences.
