Care Philosophy: I am sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex arthroscopic repair and reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joints' ligaments, tendons, labrum, menisci and cartilage. Beyond my focus on arthroscopic surgery, I also have extensive experience in complex fracture surgery of both the upper and lower extremities. I believe in educating patients about their injury and discussing the available treatment options to help individualize each patient's care and treatment to their specific needs and expectations. A clear focus on the patient's ultimate goal helps me guide their care in the best fashion possible. Outside of the medical world I am an avid cyclist, having ridden up and over some of the highest mountain peaks and passes in Europe, travelling the world exploring new sights and cuisines. In my free time I am an experienced cook and am currently focused on expanding my use of a sous vide cooker and baking bread.

Care Philosophy: I believe in a comprehensive approach to patient care. Working with internists, anesthesiologists, neurologists, radiologists, psychiatrists, and pediatricians, all avenues for alternatives to surgery are explored. With individual patients' goals in mind, if surgery is necessary, I will perform spine surgery utilizing the most modern, effective, and safe techniques tailored for each individual patient.
