Biography: Dr. John Seger, MD is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist who practices in Houston, TX. He is 71 years old and has been practicing for 30 years. Dr. John Seger, MD is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center.

Biography: Board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist, he has been practicing in the metropolitan area of Houston, Texas for more than five years as one of the more renowned doctors within his specialty. After a few years of working as a general practitioner, He decided to pursue his academic goals and become an Electrophysiologist. He moved to the United States, attended Emory University as part of the research team, Medical College of Georgia/ Augusta University, and finished his highly specialized training in complex arrhythmias at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Cuellar-Silva has continued to achieve his goals to become a prestigious practitioner within his field. His specialty consists of managing all heart rhythm disturbances; He is incredibly passionate about managing Atrial Fibrillation. He is currently part of multiple clinical trials to assess the state-of-the-art technologies and treatment strategies and train new upcoming physicians and healthcare-related technicians within the country and virtually at the international level, tachycardias, and all kinds of cardiac devices, pacemakers and defibrillators. He is one of the most experienced Watchman implanters in the area, which is a device that protects against strokes in patients with Atrial Fibrillation as an alternative to oral blood thinners. Dr. Cuellar-Silva and his beautiful family, Andrea, his wife, Maria Jose, his daughter, and Lucas, his son, enjoy spending family time. An ideal day is to go bike riding around the Houston area, playing soccer, and finishing the day with a fun family movie. He plans to stay in Houston for a long time; in fact, he loves the city so much that he would like to retire someday there.

Dr. Saunders completed extensive additional training. First, he finished his atherosclerosis and lipidology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston before completing his cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School, where he served as chief fellow in cardiology. Then he remained at Michigan Medicine for his clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship, during which Dr. Saunders received the Golden Pacemaker Award as outstanding Fellow in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
