Biography: Raul A. Rosario-Concepcion, M.D., is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, specializing in the musculoskeletal system with a focus on sports medicine. His professional interests include the diagnosis and management of chronic tendinopathy using advanced procedures such as platelet-rich plasma, ultrasonic tenotomy and debridement (TENEX) and tendon scraping. He also has advanced training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, which enhances both diagnostic applications and guided minimally invasive procedures.Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Rosario-Concepcion served as an assistant professor in the physical medicine and rehabilitation department and sports medicine division at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. He also served as a team physician for the University of North Floridas NCAA Division 1 athletic teams and the USA Basketball Junior National Teams.Dr. Rosario-Concepcion earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan. He completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.
