Biography: Kelly Hendricks, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Kansas City Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine in Overland Park, KS. He is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center and HCA Midwest Health. Dr. Hendricks has been recognized annually as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2014, and is considered to be one of the area's preeminent experts in adult orthopedic reconstruction, specifically in knee and hip replacements. He is a leader in adopting the latest total knee replacement technology a smart knee implant for patients who qualify, as he seeks to improve patient outcomes through enhanced precision and accuracy. Dr. Hendricks is frequently called upon by orthopedic colleagues for difficult or complex surgical procedures, and is one of the region's few surgeons who performs total femoral replacements. Biography: Dr. Sarah Schippers is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. She obtained both undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Kansas before completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Schippers then completed the Minnesota Hand Fellowship in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
