Care Philosophy: Haroldo D Melo, MD, wanted to be a doctor for as long as he can remember. Watching his mother work as a critical care nurse as he was growing up likely influenced his decision to pursue medicine. He always felt like being a doctor was in him - as if it wasn't really a choice at all, but just something he was born to do. Dr Melo received his medical degree from Universidad de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, completed his residency at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts and is board certified in internal medicine. Today, he uses his skills to make sure patients in Port Orange, Florida, get comprehensive, high-quality care at every age and stage of life.
