Biography: Dr. Schoifet's team approach to total joint surgery has developed into one of the largest and most successful joint replacement programs in the tri-state area. Dr. Schoifet has been appointed Medical Director for Joint Replacement Services throughout the Virtua Health Systems. He is an instructor for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for Partial and Total Knee Replacements, both nationally and internationally. He is one of the leading proponents of outpatient Total Knee Replacement in the United States. He currently teaches and trains orthopedic surgeons throughout the country and abroad. Biography: Dr. Michael J. Kimball, is a fellowship trained orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Kimball is a graduate of the Drexel School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his orthopaedic residency in Philadelphia at Hahnemann University Hospital and also completed a fellowship in Foot and Ankle surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL.

Biography: Dr. Porat, a native Philadelphian, graduated from Cornell University with Honors prior to attending Temple University Medical School. He was inducted into the AOA Medical Honor Society at Temple and subsequently completed an Orthopaedic Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. While in residency, he was selected to attend the annual AOA-OREF forum for upcoming leaders in the field of orthopedic surgery. He completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (i.e.; Joint Replacement) at The Rothman Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has written several peer-reviewed journal articles in hip and knee replacement and has co-authored several book chapters. Dr. Porat treats hip and knee pathology in adolescents and adults including revision reconstruction, complex joint reconstruction as well as non-operative hip and knee disorders.
