Biography: Dr. Bogdana Trop is board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care. She received training at University of Belgrade Medical School and completed her general surgery internship with Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Medical School. Dr. Trop moved on to her general surgery residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center, then to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for her surgical critical care fellowship. She is a member of Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. Her primary areas of interest are trauma and critical care, as well as thyroid and colon procedures.

A compassionate physician who is fluent in both English and Spanish, he clearly and thoroughly communicates with parents about their childvvvs condition and treatment options. Dr. Thompson is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, followed by his advanced fellowship training in pediatric surgery at Childrenvvvs National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
