Biography: Venkatasubramanian Kanthimathinathan, MD (Venkat), is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon. Originally from India, Dr. Venkat attended medical school there before coming to USA for his general surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Following that, he completed his fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at the University of Missouri Health Care, Columbia, MO. Along with providing his patients with exceptional care, Dr. Venkat is an avid sports and music fan who loves to travel and explore the world, especially the Swiss Alps.
