Dr. Assani was introduced to medicine at a young age through accompanying her grandmother to her doctor's appointments after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Living with a family member diagnosed with a chronic illness inspired Dr. Assani to create her own non-profit organization in high school to help fundraisefor the cure and further pushed her into medicine. As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Assani hopes to treat her patients holistically and provide empathetic, compassionatecare. Dr. Assani is excited to move to the Pacific Northwest and learn all about what it has to offer, starting off with the food!
