Biography: Dr. Reid Ravin is an attending vascular surgeon at ChristianaCare. Dr. Ravin is skilled in all areas of vasculardisease with expertise in aortic, carotid, and peripheral vascular disease. His research interests include comparative effectiveness research, as well as the application of new technology to better measure surgical outcomes. Dr. Ravin graduated from Vanderbilt University magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in biology. He attended Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, earning Alpha Omega Alpha distinction, and the Allen O. Whipple Memorial Prize for outstanding performance in surgery. He completed his residency training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in the integrated vascular surgery program. Dr. Ravin has published numerous book chapters as well as articles related to carotid artery disease and digital technologies in vascular surgery.

Biography: Thomas K. Evans, M.D., F.A.C.S. brings over twenty-five years of clinical expertise to his current role as a board-certified vascular surgeon; he has been a member of the ChristianaCare community since 2005. In this role, he treats adult and senior patients for a variety of microscopic vascular procedures, including reconstructive and reattachment procedures, as part of the ChristianaCare vascular surgical team. Dr. Evans earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA; he also studied chemistry at Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and his fellowship in vascular surgery at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ. In addition to numerous clinical roles in vascular surgery held in DE, NJ, and PA, Dr. Evans has been recognized as a Top Doc by Delaware Today six times and was awarded the Physicians Recognition Award. Currently residing in Delaware, Dr. Evans is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Medical Association and the Society for Vascular Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He looks forward to continuing his career as a vascular surgeon with the ChristianaCare team.
