Biography: Sarah E. Marmol, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in movement disorders such as Parkinsons disease, tremor and dystonia, and has a special interest in clinical research. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Marmol was a clinical instructor of neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.Dr. Marmol earned her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Biography: William Davis, III, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health, specializing in sports medicine. He speaks English and conversational Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Davis worked for the Musculoskeletal Institute at Duly Health and Care as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon. He served as the academic lead for Duly Health Cares Sports Medicine group and as the head team physician and medical director for North Central College Athletics. After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. He then continued his education with his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital UHZ Sports Medicine Institute and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davis is a faculty instructor at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. His research on improving outcomes for sports-related injuries can be found in peer-reviewed publications such as Current Orthopaedic Practice and Foot and Ankle Clinics. Biography: Francisco Borja, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with Baptist Health Orthopedic Care and a member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. He specializes in hip and knee joint replacement. A native of Madrid, Dr. Borja received his medical degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland. He served as the Annie C. Kane Fellow in hip and knee reconstruction at New York Orthopedic Hospital/Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center. In 1980-1986 he was chief surgeon of the department of orthopedics and rehabilitation at the University of Miami. Dr. Borja has published in several medical journals on hip and knee joint replacement and knee surgery. He has participated in clinical research on arthritis and bone banking and has delivered numerous presentations at national and international medical meetings.
