Biography: Dr. Kristen Pepin is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is a specialist in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery with a passion for helping women with fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, pelvic pain and infertility. She has expertise in surgical and non-surgical management of these conditions with a focus on minimally invasive approaches. She has a particular interest in laparoscopic total abdominal cerclage and hysterectomy/oophorectomy.Dr. Pepin received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society. She then went on to her residency at Brigham and Women's/Massachusetts General Hospital, teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School. She stayed on at Brigham and Women's Hospital for her fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. She also pursued a Master of Public Health degree at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Pepin has been nationally and internationally recognized for her research on minimally invasive hysterectomy. She has a particular interest inresearch on hysterectomy outcomes, tissue extraction techniques and disparitiesin surgical treatments within women's health. Care Philosophy: Dr. Szilvia Nagy is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who is dedicated to providing a high quality of care in a friendly and supportive environment to women of all ages. Dr. Nagy provides complete care in all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology. Her clinical interests include management of abnormal pap smears and HPV, treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and counseling on safe-sex practices, contraceptive counseling, medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding and general obstetrical care.

Care Philosophy: "I believe that pregnancy is a natural if unique phase in a woman's life. My job is to assure that each pregnancy is proceeding normally and intervene if it is not. Many pregnancies are medically straightforward. Some, such as twins or triplets, may be complex from the outset. In others, problems such as high blood pressure or pre-term labor may develop. I am fortunate to practice at the Weill Cornell campus of the New York Presbyterian Hospital where the latest technologies and superbly trained specialists are only a few steps or a phone call away. Care Philosophy: Dr. Melanie Marin has been a practicing gynecologist at New York Physicians (newyorkphysicians.com) since 1997. She practices office gynecology and gynecologic surgery. From the first time you call to become a patient through every interaction, you will be treated with respect and courtesy. Prior to your first visit, you will be sent forms so that you can fill out your medical history at your own pace. You will also be given the information to register for the secure patient portal so that you can communicate electronically with Dr. Marin and her staff through a private messaging portal. Your private information will stay private. After you arrive in the office and check in, Dr. Marin will greet you personally and invite you into her office to listen to your story, your questions and your concerns before the examination. When your results are ready, even if they are completely normal, you will receive an email message that asks you to return to the patient portal to view the communication from Dr. Marin or her staff about your results and any needed follow up. You can ask any further questions through the portal or ask Dr. Marin to give you a call. If you are more comfortable communicating by phone or in person, you can call the office or make a follow up appointment to review your results and questions.
