She entered Centenary College, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology and decided to pursue a career in medicine. She earned her medical degree at the LSU School of Medicine in 2012 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Shreveport. Dr. Metoyer often offers her expertise at local health fairs and schools, focusing on her interests in prevention, education, and patient counseling. When not caring for patients, Dr. Metoyer enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of her church, serving as an usher, financial secretary and member of the board of trustees.
