Biography: Dr. Viviana A. Melendez Muniz, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at HCA Florida Oak Hill Family Care. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and recently graduated from the Kaiser Permanente Community Medicine and Global Health Fellowship. Dr. Melendez Muniz completed her medical degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where she developed a vocation for global medicine and serving underserved populations. She went on to specialize in Family Medicine, completing her residency at the University of Puerto Rico Family Medicine Residency. She played a leading role in her residency and the community by helping to improve health education and social determinants of health through community clinics and improving residency curriculums. She also served as Chief Resident in her last year of Residency. She expanded her education and strengthened her teaching skills by completing a community medicine fellowship after residency. Her interests include medical education, underserved medicine, Hispanic/Latino medicine, tropical medicine, global health, minor procedures, health policy and health disparities. Dr. Melendez Muniz treats all aspects of family medicine from pediatrics to geriatrics with an emphasis on preventive care.

Care Philosophy: Craig S. Melbourne, MD is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in the surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis and various types of shoulder and elbow injuries. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 2016. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri in 2021 and was accepted into the Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship program at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Temple Terrace, Florida. Dr. Melbourne&rsquos dedication to helping his patients improve their quality of life by relieving their musculoskeletal pains means he works to fully understand the goals of each patient for their procedure and recovery, encouraging their active involvement in every step.
