Biography: Dr. Kelly Dor, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed the New York Medical College Family Medicine Residency Program at Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY, in 2018. Dr. Dor earned his medical degree from the Technological University of Santiago (UTESA) in 2007. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Dor practiced at Chen Senior Medical Center in North Miami, FL, where he provided comprehensive and effective primary care to a diverse patient population. Previously, he served at Valley Baptist Physician Network in Brownsville, TX, and Tri-County Family Medicine in Dansville, NY. Dr. Dor is passionate about improving seniors' quality of life through attentive, patient-centered care. Dr. Dor chose medicine to help improve people's lives. He believes that taking the time to listen to his patients is crucial in improving their health and quality of life. Outside of work, Dr. Dor enjoys reading books, spending time with his family, and listening to music. Biography: Liana Barkan, M.D., is an internal medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Barkan specializes in preventive care, health care maintenance, chronic disease management, womens health, weight management, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, travel medicine, substance abuse and eating disorders. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2021, Dr. Barkan was on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she worked as a primary care provider. Prior to her time at Mount Sinai Hospital, she worked as an attending and clinical professor at NYU Langone Health in Manhattan for nine years. Dr. Barkan provides comprehensive, personalized care and is passionate about helping her patients live healthier lifestyles. She takes a holistic approach to care and considers the different aspects of life that contribute to physical and mental well-being. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Barkan enjoys exercising, reading and playing with her children.
