Dr. Lim practices alongside her husband, Dr. Kennedy Lim at the WK Bossier Internal Medicine Diagnostic and Treatment Clinic. The couple have four children. Inspired by her desire to help others and her interest in healthcare, she received her undergraduate education at Emory University, receiving a bachelor of science in chemistry, which paved the way for her interest in medicine. She then attended Sint Eustatius University School of Medicine in the Netherland Antilles, where she obtained a bachelor of science in medicine followed by her medical degree. Subsequently, she completed a four-year residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport. In October 2010, Dr. Nelson moved to our practice at WK Pierremont Health Center. She is a board certified internist (American Board of Internal Medicine), primarily in the outpatient setting. Her focus is establishing a close and professional relationship with each of her patients.
