Biography: Dr. Randall White, Jr. was born and raised in the Shreveport-Bossier area. Taking advantage of the educational opportunities that Northwest Louisiana offers, he attended Caddo Magnet High School, Centenary College, (where he graduated with degrees in chemistry and economics), and LSU Health Shreveport for his Doctor of Medicine. Biography: Dr. Nelson was born in Chicago, the youngest of four children and the only daughter. She moved to Atlanta, Ga., as a child. Inspired by her desire to help others and her interest in healthcare, she received her undergraduate education at Emory University, receiving a bachelor of science in chemistry, which paved the way for her interest in medicine. She then attended Sint Eustatius University School of Medicine in the Netherland Antilles, where she obtained a bachelor of science in medicine followed by her medical degree. Subsequently, she completed a four-year residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport. In October 2010, Dr. Nelson moved to our practice at WK Pierremont Health Center. She is a board certified internist (American Board of Internal Medicine), primarily in the outpatient setting.
