Biography: Jamalia David, MD, appreciates being able to help her patients when they are sick but enjoys helping them stay healthy by getting to know her patients and the lives they lead during regular wellness exams. She loves the fact that she can take care of the entire family in one location and that everyone in her office works together like a family. Away from the office, Dr. David enjoys staying active with fun pastimes like dancing. She also enjoys traveling, working out and spending time with family and friends.

Biography: Dr. Iveta Swaim has known she wanted to be a doctor since she was five years old. A native of Czechoslovakia, after practicing medicine there for a year she made the transition to the American medical system in Charlotte, N.C. in 1999. She loves to collaborate with peers and patients alike to have the best possible impact on their health, beginning with prevention. She enjoys getting to know her patients, their special health needs and their concerns. When she's not working, Dr. Swaim enjoys playing tennis and piano, figure skating and taking ski trips out west. Her favorite place to vacation for her and her children is her home country. She loves staying in touch with her roots and keeping her Slovak heritage, language and culture alive.

Biography: Dr. Gross believes in partnering with patients to accomplish health goals and encourages them to take ownership of their health issues. She has a disabled brother whose condition inspired her to pursue medicine as a career. Family medicine caught her attention as a first-year medical student, and she never considered specializing in anything else. She believes it is a privilege to partner with her patients on their journey to good health and well-being. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, organic gardening, cooking and yoga. She is also a certified instructor for Tai Chi for Health. Dr. Gross and her husband have been married over 35 years and are the proud parents of five children, all born and raised in Charlotte.
