Care Philosophy: ``Choosing a career in pediatrics was an easy decision for me. I can't imagine a greater gift than working with children and adolescents every day. Pediatrics naturally lends itself to the principles of prevention and health education, and I aim to incorporate these values into each visit. I appreciate that each patient has a unique combination of medical, social and emotional needs over time, and I look forward to providing individualized, holistic care to meet these needs. Care Philosophy: With 30 years of family practice experience I see myself as my patient's advisor in managing and choosing wisely in their health care decisions. Each individual is unique and needs to have their own input in medical decisions. I tend to encourage diet, exercise and natural approaches and try to minimize use of medication when possible. I discourage narcotics or tranquilizers on a chronic basis as my experience is patients just develop tolerance and now have two problems instead of one.
