Biography: Tymwa Dixon, M.D. has a passion for family medicine. As a child, he became intrigued with the idea of caring for people of all ages. He pursued his goal of becoming a physician throughout his academic career, starting at Caddo Magnet High School in Shreveport. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University and then his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He completed a residency in family medicine at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. Dr. Dixon has developed expertise in treating chronic diseases and acute disease states such as hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia; and is fully qualified to care for all patients from children to the elderly. Dr. Dixon and his wife have three children and make their home in Shreveport.

Biography: Sophia Shokouh Amiri was born in Shiraz, Iran. She and her family moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana, in the 1980s. She attended McNeese State University, the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and, later, at LSU Shreveport for her undergraduate education.. She completed medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, followed by a Family Medicine residency at E.A. Conway Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. After completing her residence she earned board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Amiri loves taking care of her patients. When not caring for patients, she and her husband, a transplant surgeon, enjoy walking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with their family and friends.

Biography: Dr. Kevin Langlois, MD is a Critical Care Medicine Specialist who practices in Shreveport, LA. He is 44 years old. Dr. Kevin Langlois, MD is affiliated with Willis Knighton North.

Care Philosophy: I believe that health is more than freedom from illness. It is, rather, an integration of the mind, body and spirit so that all areas of the human person are in harmony. It is my privilege to be able to help parents raise their children in health—and it's a great joy to watch them grow up. On the personal side: My family and I enjoy spending time together. We tent camp and like to cook. I'm also an ordained deacon in the Catholic Church which gives me another venue in which to help people achieve total health.
