Biography: Dr. Kumar is a Board Certified Pediatrician who is a strong advocate for her Pediatric patients, and will provide the highest quality of care possible. Dr. Kumar came to the US as a young child and grew up in warm and sunny California. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Biology from University of California, Irvine and received her Medical Degree from American University of the Caribbean. She attended UMDNJ-NJ Medical School for Internship and completed her Pediatric residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in 2005. She worked for South Bay Family Health Care in Los Angeles, CA, providing services for the under-served until 2009. She, then, relocated to the Atlanta area and has provided pediatric care in the Cumming & Johns Creek areas. Dr, Kumar founded Meadow Pediatrics in 2012 to provide customized and comprehensive care. She is on staff at Emory Johns Creek, Northside – Forsyth, and Children's Hospital of Atlanta – Scottish Rite. She has a special interest in the management of childhood obesity, asthma and newborn care. Dr. Kumar lives in Cumming with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

Care Philosophy: Dr Keisha Ellis is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in endocrinology &mdash with particular emphasis on the management of obesity, diabetes, and thyroid disease. She accepts internal medicine appointments at the LRH Morrell Internal Medicine location, and also accepts endocrinology appointments at the LRH Gateway Primary Care clinic. As a clinical professor for GME (graduate medical education), she also serves as the Associate Program Director of the LRH Internal Medicine Residency program. Dr Ellis earned her MD in medicine at Ross University.
