Biography: Dr. Ruhina N. Ali is a Psychiatrist in Illinois. She studied General Psychiatry and completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic and graduated from St. Matthew™s College of Medicine. Dr. Ali looks at the whole person, the family, and all environmental factors when she approaches patient care. Biography: Dr. Courtney Wiseman, Board-Certified Psychiatrist, expertly treats psychiatric disorders for patients over the age of 18._x000D_ _x000D_ Dr. Wiseman received BA from University of Notre Dame and an MD from Georgetown University. She completed her residency in psychiatry at University of Illinois, Chicago while simultaneously earning an MA in public health at University of Chicago. Following her residency, she moved to Boston to become the attending psychiatrist at Cambridge Hospital. Other accomplishments include an instructor position at Harvard Medical School where she was awarded a Miles Shore Research Grant to study how physicians in different practice settings manage chronic mental illness._x000D_ _x000D_ After moving to Chicago, Dr. Wiseman served as a consult-liaison psychiatrist and provided supervision to psychiatry residents at Northwestern University. Care Philosophy: The wholistic process, for me, includes working with the person to understand and target their mental health concerns from a biological, psychological, and social perspective understanding that there are many things that affect a person's mental health that medication alone may not address. As a result, I incorporate skills, methods, and theories from cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy into each person's care.
