Biography: Dr. Hart is equal parts Bobcat and Longhorn. An Austin native who joined our practice in 2007, Chris has a special interest in minimally-invasive pelvic surgery and exercise and nutrition during pregnancy. She enjoys spending time with two sons, cooking delicious meals for friends and family, and hiking on local Austin trails.

Biography: Erica Garza is a dedicated, intelligent physician who is concerned about women's health issues. This is very evident in everything from the many academic awards she has won and the academic presentations she has made to the many research projects she has participated in, past and present. Dr. Garza received her Bachelor of Biology degree from Texas A&M University in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time there, she received the Texas A&M Dept. of Multicultural Services Academic Excellence Award and was a member of both the Golden Key and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies. For her medical training, Dr. Garza attended Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. She completed her obgyn residency at Phoenix Integrated Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, St. Joseph Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. During her residency, she received awards and research grants, including the Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Garza has worked on several impressive research projects: Primary Researcher Adaptation of a Diagnostic Screening Tool to Assess Sexual Health Concerns Among Immigrant and Refugee WOMEN Assistant Researcher Qualification of presacral nerve fibers and its implication with future presacral neurosysis for patients with dysmenorrhea In June 2016, Dr. Garza completed a two year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS) and Chronic Pelvic Pain at St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center. This surgical training, largely focused on laparoscopic surgery, including DaVinci robotic surgery, afforded her the opportunity to perform more advanced surgery through a minimally invasive approach allowing women to have shorter hospital stays, faster healing times, and return to their regular daily lives faster. Additionally during this time, she also focused on learning and understanding the many different aspects of pelvic pain and ways treat it. Dr. Garza is a member of several professional organizations, including: American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. Biography: Dr. DiSarro loves the sunshine and warm weather from growing up on the Gulf Coast of Florida and attending college at the University of Florida, all the way to her residency in the beach town of Wilmington, NC. She has a deep love of Austin culture, and now she and her husband are eager to settle down in the city in which they were engaged. Amanda enjoys paddle boarding, rock climbing, hiking, running, seeing live music and spending time with her husband and dog.
