Biography: Joseph Greene, MD, MBA, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in bariatric and general surgery with Capital Surgical Associates in Reston, Virginia, and is affiliated with Reston Hospital Center. Dr. Greene earned his Doctor of Medicine at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida. He then completed his residency in general surgery with MedStar Health Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and a bariatric, robotic, and advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
