She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After her fellowship, she joined Jacobi Medical Center, one of the New York City Health and Hospitals, where she provided minimally invasive surgeries and started a gynecology quality improvement committee.Dr. Arvizo believes that every person deserves access to safe, high-quality gynecologic care. She sits on national quality improvement committees and has been invited to lecture on increasing access to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
