Biography: Dr. Drew Rhodes joined our team in 2020 from the University of North Carolina. He is a general surgeon formally trained in the subspecialty of endocrine surgery at Yale University where he worked closely with Dr. Tobias Carling. As Dr. Carling says Drew is the best of the best and wherever I go, I want Drew at my side. He is one of the best surgeons I have ever met. After spending a week with Dr. Norman, he agrees Few surgeons have the hands that Drew has and after I saw him operate, I knew we had to have him on our team. Dr. Rhodes received his general surgery training at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia prior to fellowship training at Yale. Biography: Jamii St. Julien, MD MPH, FACS, is a complex general surgical oncologist and a board-certified general surgeon. He obtained a Bachelor™s of Science degree in Biology at Florida A&M University. He also received his Master™s of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and spent two years at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, focusing on clinical research in patients with endocrine and pancreatic malignancies. Dr. St. Julien completed a fellowship in Advanced GI Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine where he focused on advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical management of patients with complex liver, biliary, pancreatic, foregut, and colorectal diseases.
