Biography: Phillip Heyse, MD, FACS, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. Dr. Heyse is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He has been awarded with Dayton Magazine's Dayton's Best Docs 2023 and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Heyse is a dedicated general surgeon with a particular interest on improving the lives of patients requiring dialysis access. He provides comprehensive surgical care for individuals with chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and dialysis access needs alongside a broad range of acute care surgical conditions. As a general surgeon, he performs procedures such as arteriovenous fistula creation, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, laparoscopic-assisted VP shunt placement, appendectomy, bowel resection, and hernia repair.
