Biography: Dr. Gutierrez graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gutierrez is trained in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Electronic Fetal Monitoring. She has also received training in the da Vinci Surgery method, which is a minimally invasive robotic surgical technique to diagnose and treat gynecologic and fertility issues, such as endometriosis and uterine fibroids.As an assistant to the Office of Academic Enhancement at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Gutierrez shared her expertise with the next generation of doctors. She instructed first year medical students and continues to seek out academic and research opportunities.Proficient in Spanish, Dr. Gutierrez volunteered with International Service Learning, providing medical care to underserved populations in Nicaragua. Dr. Gutierrez also served the community with prenatal care for incarcerated patients at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.Dr. Gutierrez belongs to numerous medical societies, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women's Association.In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, reading fiction and running.

Biography: Dr. Victoria Wheeler provides comprehensive, personalized obstetrics and gynecologic care to women in the Austin, TX community. She believes that all women are deserving of wellness, support, and medical care especially during the most sensitive stages of their lives including high-risk obstetrics, contraception counseling, and gynecological cancer prevention.Dr. Wheeler hails from a large family of physicians and is a native of Greenwood, Mississippi in the center of the Mississippi Delta. She completed her undergraduate training at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English Literature with honors while participating in 3 years of NCAA Women's Lacrosse. She was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Tau Delta honor societies. As an avid writer, she accumulated notable awards for essays that were published throughout college and medical school including an essay that was read at her commencement ceremony in 2013 and became required reading for the incoming classes. During her gap year between college and medical school, she mentored and taught sexual education classes to teens in her local community and led weekly aerobic classes in her church community.She completed medical school at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018. She completed residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which is the major academic referral center for the surrounding states of Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, and the Florida panhandle. There, she participated in the leading edge of clinical research, and she played integral roles on the minority, diversity, and wellness committees.Her academic research focused on the application and effectiveness of menstrual suppression for women undergoing chemotherapy for hematologic malignancies. She is an active member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the National Medical Association.In her free time, she enjoys spin classes, music concerts, reading, traveling abroad, and long walks with her golden retriever, Simba, exploring her new city of Austin.

Biography: Dr. Christopher Seeker has been with Austin Area Obstetrics, Gynecology & Fertility since 1988. He is assisted in his office by his three certified nurse practitioners: Kelly Reagan, Casey Friesenhahn, and Jaki Lockwood. They complement Dr. Seeker's practice by providing obstetric, gynecologic, and fertility visits. Dr. Seeker is a native of Odessa Texas and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock earning a degree in chemistry in 1980. He obtained his doctor of medicine from The University of Texas Health & Science Center in San Antonio in 1984 where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society. Dr. Seeker did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor, where he was chief resident, and at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Association and American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Seeker is one of the most popular and recognized Central Texas physicians. Many local organizations and periodicals (Texas Monthly, Austin American-Statesman, etc) have singled him out as an outstanding physician. He attributes his success to his faith in God and his steadfast dedication to women's health. He regards the role of family as sacred. He and his wife Ann have three children (Paige, Luke, and Blake Ann). The Seeker family spends much of their free time on their working Texas Cattle Ranch and Pecan farm near Austin.

Biography: Dr. Shaw completed his undergraduate and graduate studies with the world's foremost scholars in medicine at Boston University. In 1994, he was fortunate to work with Dr. Irwin Goldstein, one of the original investigators for a little blue pill that eventually was called Viagra®. Dr. Goldstein took Dr. Shaw under his wing, and the rest is history. Following this, he was accepted to the Tulane Urology program in New Orleans with Dr. Raju Thomas. At Tulane he was fortunate to receive top notch training in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery, and participated in the first da Vinci Robotic Surgery program in the Gulf Coast in 2000. Dr. Shaw is proud to have lived with, and help care for, the wonderful people of New Orleans during his time there. Dr. Shaw moved back to his home state of Texas and picked Austin to be his home in 2004, but never lost his taste for New Orleans cuisine. Dr. Shaw enjoys being in the middle of the action, beginning with his appointment as Chief Resident at Tulane. In Austin, Dr. Shaw has become a respected leader in the medical community, having been appointed as the Chief of Staff at St. David's, North Austin Medical Center, a Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospital in the United States. Additionally, he has received the ``Top Urologist`` and the ``Patients' Choice`` Award several years in a row. Dr. Shaw is also proud to be one of two physicians to be a part of the Kidney Transplant team for Central Texas and North Austin Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Shaw's expertise in minimally invasive, and robotic, laparoscopic surgery has placed him amongst a select group of surgeons from Intuitive Surgical, manufacturer of the da Vinci Robotics system, to train other surgeons from around the country. Dr. Shaw enjoys teaching as well, and actively gives lectures around Austin and throughout Texas on all aspects of urology. He has also been a guest on ABC, NBC, and CBS to discuss urologic issues with the Austin community. Between all that, he had a chance to write a book used by thousands of young residents, ``How to Find The Right Job After Residency``. Dr. Shaw loves learning, and actively participates in local, regional, and international conferences to stay on the leading edge of his field. Dr. Shaw is board certified by the American Board of Urology, and is an active part of several major medical societies. When not working, Dr. Shaw loves running at Town Lake, and anything that involves being on the water. Dr. Shaw is a proud part of the Austin community, along with his wonderful wife and daughter. Active in the community, he is proud to work alongside his wife with several organizations throughout Austin.
