Care Philosophy: I will cover my patients exclusively, that means the doctor you see in the office will be the doctor you talk to on the phone when you have a question and the doctor who is in the delivery room with you when you have your baby. I believe this is important to patients and for the continuity of care. Medicine needs to return to the days when it was unheard of to have a doctor you have never met walk into your room and deliver your baby.

Biography: Dr. Henry Adegbulugbe, MD is an Obstetrics /amp Gynecology Specialist who practices in Suitland, MD. He is 63 years old and has been practicing for 40 years. Dr. Henry Adegbulugbe, MD is affiliated with University of MD Capital Region Medical Center and University of Maryland Medical System.

Biography: Michelle Wood, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist (OBGYN) with Virginia Complete Care for Women. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Wood earned her undergraduate degrees in chemistry and cellular molecular biology from University of Michigan. She earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center.Dr. Wood is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Wood enjoys practicing obstetrics and gynecology which provides an opportunity to care for women at all stages of their lives. She is honored to be part of the pregnancy journey and birth experience of so many mothers and families. She is also committed to educating her patients about preventative care and healthy lifestyles and believes in shared medical decision making.In her free time, Dr. Wood loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys travel and sporting events, especially gymnastics and football.Dr. Wood is accepting new OB and gynecology patients at both practice locations in Richmond and Chesterfield.

Biography: Dr. Contreras completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana with a BS in biology. She then attended East Carolina Brody School of Medicine and completed her residency at East Carolina University-Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, NC. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. A native of Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Contreras moved to Southern Maryland in 2011. Dr. Contreras enjoys cooking, baking and traveling with her husband Dr. Contreras. She has two children Amaya and Roman and a cuddly hamster, Keko. Dr. Contreras has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics and posterior vaginal support.
