Biography: Dr. Avery Rossidis came to Las Vegas in 2022 after completing both her general surgery and pediatric surgery training in Philadelphia. She was born and raised in northeast Ohio and then completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY before earning her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC. Dr. Rossidis completed her general surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania followed by a fellowship in pediatric general, thoracic, and fetal surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). During residency, Dr. Rossidis served as a research fellow for CHOP's Center for Fetal Research investigating in utero gene editing and the development of an artificial womb.Dr. Rossidis performs the full gamut of pediatric surgery and has special interests in the correction of congenital anomalies, minimally invasive techniques, surgical oncology, thoracic surgery, and ECMO.
