Biography: Dr. Prebish is a Minimally Invasive General Surgeon, with specialization in robotic techniques. In addition to his surgical endeavors, he also performs advanced wound care and serves as the medical director of the wound care center at two area hospitals. He has helped launch the Robotic Surgery program at two hospitals in the community. Dr. Prebish is a cum laude graduate of Michigan State University and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as a two-term elected student body Vice President. During his surgical residency, he served as chief surgical resident two consecutive years. He was nominated by his peers to serve as the Chief of Staff at HCA Pasadena Hospital. He now serves the Pinellas county community at HCA Pasadena Surgical Specialists. He has been providing the highest-quality surgical care for patients in the Davenport area since 2005 and previously served on the faculty of the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and as Chief of Surgery at North General Hospital in New York City. He is a graduate of Cebu Doctors' College of Medicine in the Philippines. He did his general surgery residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Harlem Hospital Center, in New York City and completed his tenure there with a one-year critical care fellowship.
