Biography: Syed Mustafa Karim, MD, is a board certified, fellowship-trained medical oncologist with Sarah Cannon at Lee's Summit Medical Center. Dr. Karim treats patients in Lee's Summit, MO. Dr. Karim has 15+ years of experience treating patients for Hematologic disorders with special interests in lung cancer, gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, breast cancer, chronic leukemia and myeloma. In addition to his oncology training with world-renowned Hematologists and Oncologists at Georgetown University, he is fellowship-trained in geriatric medicine, which gives him advanced expertise with older patients affected by cancers.
